Just announced: The work I did for the World No Tobacco Day event for CJRW's Stamp Out Smoking client just won a Silver Award for the National Public Health Awards (NPHIC) in social media. World No Tobacco Day is an annual event put on by World Health Organization and partners, highlighting the health risks associated with tobacco use and advocating for effective policies to reduce tobacco consumption. This is the promotional campaign for the Arkansas partnership.
Pauly's is coming to a place near you, as long as you live in downtown Little Rock. I can't wait to try this new twist on southern food! Look for Pauly's near the train station and surrounding areas. I developed a logo, poster, and stickers for the food truck.
Wrapping up some new infographics!
The Coasts band is raising money by selling limited edition, signed posters here. I helped them out by making the posters for them. You may have heard them on tv shows like 90210, GRIMM, and multiple others. Illustration by the fabulous Valeriya Volkova.
On Sunday, I took some time to play around with watercolors for fun. More to come!
I know little about the laborious task that is video editing, yet I am constantly drawn to and interested in learning more about the art of film. I decided it would be fun to try my hand at putting together a montage to document my long weekend traversing across central Colorado using videos taken from my iPhone. I traveled from Denver, to Central City, to Fort Collins, to Boulder, and back to Denver using the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway. If you have never taken the byway, it is simply breathtaking and beautiful.
The music in this is an original song written and performed by two of the friends I stayed with. They are great to listen to. We sat out on the back porch over a fire pit, listening to song after song late into the night. Brandon and Adam are planning to release an EP later this year and have been booking venues to play in Denver.
Spring is right around the corner now! I am making it a little brighter in my home with these fresh flowers and a new quote for my chalkboard.
